Founded in the Summer of 1973, Van Diemen has been the world's largest volume manufacturer of racing cars. Based in facilities close to the famous Snetterton Racetrack in Norfolk, Van Diemen professionally services its clients throughout the world.
In 2002 came the completion of Van Diemen's sale to Elan Motorsport Technologies, the specialist automotive group with a great track record - LeMans, IRL, Champ Car and SCCA series.
This acquisition marked an important step for Van Diemen, giving it the international sales support to compete effectively on a global scale and engineering strength to stay ahead of the competition. Furthermore, as part of a larger organisation, Van Diemen can now benefit from superior buying power, allowing us to continue to supply cars at a competitive price.
We have ambitious plans to expand during the coming years, whilst never forgetting the ability to design, produce and deliver race cars to tight deadlines and reasonable budgets. This skill has been vital in the growth of the company to today's present levels.
